Semana Santa, Holy Week, is the most important Catholic religious festival in South America. Celebrating the last days of Christ's life, the Crucifixion and Resurrection, as well as the end of Lent. Semana Santa is observed with a range of celebrations.

Universities and ISA offices are closed during this time.

Saint Peter and Saint Paul - Observed by Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran churches. One of the oldest saints' days commemorating San Pedro and San Pablo.
