This summer program is designed to help students to develop an understanding of recent advances in the field of bioscience and the impact of bioscience on global health. Students will learn practical laboratory skills, data interpretation and analysis techniques in key biological research themes including cancer biology and stem cell research. Students will also gain experience of other research skills, such as giving presentations and carrying out literature reviews. This course particularly complements the Functional Anatomy course available during the Summer 2 session, and students may wish to consider taking them both as a back-to-back program.

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.00.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
There is no language prerequisite for this program.
Students must have at least a sophomore standing (second-year) at their home university at the time of participation.
