I was a little hesitant at first since I would be traveling to a country where I didn't know the language, a place that was so far from home, and where I didn't know anyone. That hesitancy was replaced with excitement the moment my plane landed in Seoul. I could not believe that this amazing city was going to be my home for the semester and I could not wait until I had a chance to explore it. The other people in the program are some of the best friends a person could ask for, we promised to keep in touch, and I plan on having them in my life for the long run. Korea is such a wonderful country and I definitely am going to come back to create new memories that I will cherish. Studying abroad is something I will never regret. I will forever remember these memories, experiences, feelings, and irreplaceable friends."

"You are traveling to a different country, therefore, you will experience a different culture. I think it is extremely important to do your homework before you arrive to your city. Being knowledgeable in your country's culture will make your trip significantly more enjoyable. Not only that, you could maybe even impress some of the locals and they will want to help make you feel even more comfortable than they already would have. However, you must also understand that it may be very difficult to know everything about the culture before arriving, so definitely be open to be making a few mistakes and simply learning from them, and growing as a person through them."
