Although originally from southern Idaho, Janelle has spent many years of her life living outside of the the United States. She started living abroad at the age of seven when her family moved to England and then the Netherlands for a year-long sabatical. Then as a university student, she supplemented her studies with two separate study abroad programs, the first one in Canada to study architecture and the second one with the ISA Barcelona program in 2005. Before moving back to Barcelona in 2007 she graduated at the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Architecture and a B.A. in Spanish. She loves to travel, dance, cook, ride horses, and is open to pretty much any new experience that comes along.
