Students will enter Morocco on a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar to explore a land filled with Arabic, African and European influence. The first stop is Fes, the world's only fully-preserved and continuously inhabited medieval city, where students can walk among the bustling bazaars and sacred mosques. The group will sleep in Berber tents under a star-filled sky and awake to witness the sun rise over the desert. Participants will ride atop a camel into Merzouga, and finally, depart from the desert and visit Meknes, the "Versailles of Morocco," before returning to Spain.
