Intensive Spanish Language -Universidad de Granada

This program offers students the opportunity to hone their Spanish language abilities by taking a 90 contact hour intensive Spanish language course focusing on the skills of writing, reading, speaking, and listening. Students may enroll in overlapping, back to back summer sessions, allowing them to complete 12 credits or 180 contact hours of Spanish. Students will be in class with international students, the majority of whom are North American. All classes are taught by host university faculty at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas at the University of Granada.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

Students must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Granada. The exam will indicate each student's language proficiency level, and will determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll. This program is well-suited to students at all levels of Spanish language proficiency.
