Students will take a minimum of four courses and a maximum of five courses. All classes are taken at the University of Granada with international students. However, students with a very high language level may be allowed to take up to two courses with Spaniards. IMPORTANT: Enrollment in the Hispanic Studies semester program is strictly determined by the results of an on-site placement exam administered by the University of Granada. We strongly suggest that students whose home universities require them to place into Hispanic Studies sign up for Intensive Language month + Semester option (B programs for 2011, and A programs for 2012) so that, by taking a month-long intensive Spanish module before the start of semester classes, they may increase the likelihood of being eligible for the classes they need.
