ISA Office in Granada, Spain
Cultural Activities Coordinator in Granada, Spain
Rosanna Carnevale was born in Switzerland and raised in Italy, in the Basilicata region. Since early childhood she has nurtured a strong interest in foreign languages such as English and Spanish, having gone on to pursue a dual university degree in English and Spanish philology. She spent the 2002-03 school year as an Erasmus student in the University of Granada, and eventually took her degree from Universitá degli Studi della Basilicata in 2005. Since then, she has worked as a receptionist, as a tour guide, and as a schoolteacher, while furthering her education with advanced courses in pedagogy and translation. Rosanna joined ISA in 2010 and since then has been a fixture of the ISA Granada team, although she also feels privileged to have a part of the ISA Florence team for a semester, the ISA Rome team for a summer and the ISA Galway (Ireland) as Resident Director. In fact, she is convinced she's been lucky enough to live in four of the world's most beautiful cities while working for ISA. She looks forward to helping North American students adapt to the local culture, here in Santander or wherever her ISA destiny takes her!
