The "Spanish Language & Courses with Locals" program is open to students with an advanced knowledge of Spanish (students must have completed 4+ semesters of college-level Spanish, or tested out of the equivalent). This program offers a variety of courses to select from, enabling ISA students the opportunity to enroll in courses that fit their individual academic needs. All courses are taught by host university faculty at the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija. ISA participants will take classes alongside primarily Spanish students, as well as international students.

Students may select courses from the following departments:

- Communication Sciences (Programa Integrado de Ciencias Sociales, PICS)
- Social Sciences (Programa Integrado de Ciencias de la Comunicación, PICC)
- Arts and Letters (Programa Integrado de las Artes y las Letras, PIAL)
- Polytechnic School (Programa Integrado de la Escuela Politécnica Superior, PIEPS)

Within these departments, students will be able to choose courses from a variety of academic disciplines, including: Advertising/Public Relations, Architecture, Audio-Visual, Communications, Business Administration and Management, Engineering, Fine Arts, International Relations, Industrial Design, Journalism, Law, Modern Languages, Performing Arts, and Tourism.

Fall and Academic Year students will take one 45-hour intensive Spanish course before beginning the fall semester.

Courses with locals are instructed in Spanish and in English. Students must select at least one course in Spanish (in addition to the intensive-Spanish course at the beginning of the fall semester).

Please note that each department's courses are located on a specific campus. To avoid scheduling conflicts, students should select courses from departments that meet on the same campus:
