Note: Beginning Spring 2017, we will be streamlining our semester program offerings at the Universidad de Salamanca by combining the Liberal Arts & Spanish Language program and the Business & Spanish Language program.
The Business, Cultural Studies & Spanish program is open to students at all language levels, and offers courses instructed in Spanish and English. There are two "tracks" for this program; students should select the track that best fits their field of study and Spanish language level.
Track A: Business & Spanish Language
This track offers a range of business courses instructed in English, as well as Spanish language courses. Students who select this track are required to take two courses from the Business & Spanish Language Core Business Curriculum (meaning, students must enroll in at least one course in English). The other two or three courses students enroll in may also come from the Core Business Curriculum and/or the Cultural Studies course selections (Track B).
Track B: Cultural Studies & Spanish Language
This track offers courses in Spanish and English in a variety of cultural topics, as well as Spanish language courses. All Spanish courses, aside from Spanish language, are taught at the advanced level, but are open to students at the intermediate level and above. Students who plan to take courses in Spanish only should select this track, as there are no required courses taught in English.
Student visa is required for programs over 90 days. Please reference the Student Visa & Embassy page for more information. Applying for a visa could require out of state travel.
