Depart the U.S. You should be at the airport at least 2½ hours prior to your flight.

Arrive in Madrid, Spain. Check into hotel and rest. Visit the Plaza Mayor and Las Cuevas in the evening.

Excursion
Guided tour of El Museo del Prado and El Palacio Real. Visit Retiro Park.
Thu. 07/02
Excursion
Day trip to El Escorial. Arrive in Toledo in the evening.
Fri. 07/03
Excursion
Guided tour of Toledo during the day. Evening is free.
Sat. 07/04
Travel
Leave for Santander. Meet your host families.
Sun. 07/05
Classes
Placement exam. Regular class schedule begins at the Menendez Pelayo International University. Weekends are free except for several organized excursions, dates to be announced once students arrive in Santander.

Depart Santander in evening on overnight bus to Madrid.

Arrive in Madrid in the morning. Depart for the U.S. (Students may stay and travel.)
