This program offers a variety of courses at Pablo de Olavide University, some of which are taught in English and others that are taught in Spanish. The subjects vary from history and political science to business and biology. Beginning, Intermediate and advanced level Spanish language courses are also available. All classes are with American and other international students. Students with an adequate language level may participate in up to two classes with Spanish students by means of the Program for Integration with the University (PIU). The ISA Hispanic Studies program is perfect for the student who enjoys a traditional university atmosphere, yet wants regular interaction with Spanish students.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.90.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

Intermediate and advanced level students may enroll in subject courses taught in Spanish with international students. Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of two college-level Spanish courses to be eligible for intermediate Spanish language courses. Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of four college-level Spanish courses to be eligible for advanced Spanish language courses. There is no language prerequisite for beginner courses and courses taught in English.

Please note that as of Winter 4 2011, the Pablo de Olavide University's minimum GPA requirement for winter and fall programs will be a 2.90. The Fall 4 2010 minimum GPA requirement will remain at 2.70. For further information please contact ISA.
