The Summer 1 program provides courses in high beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish, while the Summer 2 program provides courses in intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish. Students can take courses focusing on language acquisition, or they can choose from courses in culture, literature, international relations, international marketing and economics. Courses are taught in Spanish or English.
Students will be taking courses with other ISA students. Courses are taught by host university faculty at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo.

Students who arrive in Spain having completed one full year of college-level Spanish will likely place into the intermediate level courses.
