The University of Sevilla, founded in 1551, is one of the oldest universities in Spain. It is a state institution under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and one of the largest universities in Spain, with an enrollment of over 75,000 students. The university grants undergraduate degrees as well as doctorates. ISA currently has agreements with three of the university's facultades (i.e. schools/faculties): The Facultad de Filología (Philology), the Facultad de Geografía e Historia (Geography and History) and the Facultad de Economía (Economics). The Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Geography and History are housed in the university's central downtown complex, located next to the famous Plaza de España. The School of Economics is located within minutes of the downtown complex in one of the more modern sections of the university. The University of Sevilla has four libraries available to all students: Dante Alighieri (the Library of Philology, History, and Geography), the Library of Manuals, the Art library, and the general library. In addition, each department has its own research facilities.

The Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) was founded by Spain's Ministry of Education in 1932 under the name University of Santander. In 1945 it acquired its present title. An autonomous institution that reports to Spain's Ministry of Education and Science, the UIMP continues to have its central campus in the city of Santander, where it originated. However, the UIMP has increased its presence and reputation in Spain by offering post-graduate seminars in various fields, numerous courses in Spanish as a Second Language, and courses in English, at various satellite campuses throughout Spain. In the city of Sevilla, ISA has partnered with the UIMP to expand the UIMP's course offerings in language, culture and business with courses offered in Spanish and English. ISA's Sevilla Academic Center, located in the famous Barrio Santa Cruz, now serves as one of the UIMP's classroom centers, where students of various national origins can go to study.

Pablo de Olavide University
Established in 1997, the Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) is one of the youngest public universities in Spain, but it has grown quickly with its dedication to higher learning. The UPO offers a permanent forum for debate and reflection on the challenges of contemporary society and culture. Topics such as globalization, defense and promotion of human rights, mass communication, and environmental issues are addressed through courses, conferences, discussions, exhibitions, publications, and workshops. The university also takes special interest in sports activities and has remodeled and expanded its athletic facilities. The Pablo de Olavide University is similar in many ways to contemporary US universities in regards to its campus facilities and academic philosophy. It is located about 5 miles outside of the city center.
