This program offers advanced level courses in language, culture, history, art, and literature. Program participants will be in class with other ISA students. All classes are taught in Spanish by faculty from the host university. Please note that ISA cannot guarantee course placement.

This program offers Spanish Language courses for beginning, intermediate and advanced level students in addition to electives in English. The curriculum includes courses in grammar and Spanish culture as well as a number of content courses instructed in English. Classmates are international students, the majority of whom are North American. All students will receive an official transcript from Florida State University. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Valencia.
Gap Students: If accepted to this program as a Gap student, you will be classified as a special (non-degree seeking) student. After completion of this program, if you were to apply for degree-seeking status at the Florida State University, up to 14 semester hours earned as a special student may be applied toward an undergraduate degree only with the approval of the appropriate dean at the time of reclassification. This program at the Universidad Católica de Valencia is designed for students of all language levels. Students will have the opportunity to take courses with locals or international students in English relating to health and natural sciences.

The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program has been designed by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) to provide a unique opportunity for STEM students to experience academics at a prestigious Spanish institution. This program focuses on developing student's technical skills in an international environment. This program also offers Spanish Language courses for intermediate level students. Classmates for the majority of classes are local Spanish students.
Students who plan on talking intermediate Spanish language must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Valencia.
