These are tailor-made academic courses, taught by PhD professors in which morning classes are devoted to the study of particular science and environmental topics and afternoon courses are devoted to Spanish classes. This program is open to students of all language levels, but is ideal for students with beginning-intermediate language skills. Students will have an academic orientation before making their final course selections at the University of Belgrano. Students who have completed or tested out of a minimum of 4 semesters/6 quarters of college-level Spanish are eligible for this program by enrolling in the semester that includes the intensive month. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Santander. The exam will indicate each student's language proficiency level, and will determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll.
