ADDITIONAL EXPENSES

We would like to make note of the fact that ISA provides the following list of estimated expenses as a guide. As each student and program is different, so are the expenses. The ISA program cost includes items such as tuition and fees, housing, insurance, and more. Please see specific program descriptions for details.

  • Books & Supplies

    We estimate that students should expect to spend the following amounts on books and course materials:

  • Personal Expenses

    For each program we anticipate that students may expect to spend additional funds for incidentals such as toiletries, snacks bought outside the home, taxi and bus fares and other miscellaneous items. ISA site-specific materials for students may differ from this amount, but this is an estimated amount for budgeting/financial aid purposes.

  • Airfare

* Check for the remainder of your balance, to be deposited immediately by ISA. Only an estimated amount and does not include such items as housing deposit, optional excursions, etc.

* Amount due to ISA based on the award amount listed on your Verification of Award (VOA), which will need to be paid on your ISA Student Portal once your financial aid funds have been released to you.

Please note: Students opting for apartments or independent housing with no meals, should budget accordingly.

PAYMENT PLAN

ISA is happy to offer the option of a payment plan for participants and their families who need more time to make payment arrangements. There is a $25 fee for the plan, which should be arranged by the payment due date for the ISA program. The program price is typically divided into three payment installments. The first payment is due by the payment due date of the program, with the last payment due no later than two weeks before the start of the program.

Please contact the appropriate ISA Program Manager or HigherEdFinAid@worldstrides.org to set up a payment plan. Students will also have access to a Payment Plan Request Form in their ISA Student Portal.
