OverviewThis course is an extension and application of first law of thermodynamics and second law of thermodynamics. Topics include: entropy balances, steam/refrigeration cycles, thermodynamic properties of real substances, equilibrium and stability of one-component systems and phase transitions.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
