    Syllabus

    PURPOSE
    This module will prepare learners to understand the basic skills of starting a small business as well as the various principles and practice of running a business. It is further aimed at equipping learners with the necessary knowledge of different forms of business and what is expected of an entrepreneur in the business environment and the society at large.

    LEARNING OUTCOMES
    After completing this module the learner will be able to understand the basic principles of starting and running a business. The learner will be able to apply the necessary skills and principles of managing any form of business, including solving problems one can encounter when running a business.

    The module will also prepare the learner to use information technology adequately to cope with ever-changing needs of all stakeholders in a business environment.
