    Course Description and Objectives: 

    This course is intended for students who have BASIC knowledge of the Korean language. It aims to give students an understanding of the Korean language and to help acquire a beginning level of communicative competency in modern Korean. Students will learn the necessary themes and useful functions in the daily lives – hobbies, shopping, directions and emotions. Through the practice of listening, speaking, reading and writing, students will learn how to carry out basic conversation on topics of everyday daily life, to comprehend basic structure of Korean texts and to write about their own everyday life at a beginning level.
