    Course Description:

    Issues facing manufacturing and service firms, forecasting, product/process design, inventory and supply chain management, project management, and quality management.

    Course Objectives:

    • Develop an ability to apply operations management concepts in a variety of settings.
    • Analyze system quality problems within organizations using the principles of quality control and quality assurance.
    • Build both quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, especially those needed for managing operations.
    • Provide common sense modeling concepts that can be used to help managers evaluate various management problems.
