Hours & Credits
OverviewThe intensive twelve credit Italian course gives students the opportunity to experience total immersion in the language. Students will develop the 4 cornerstones of foreign language study, comprehension, readings, writing, and, above all, speaking. All lessons will be taught in Italian. In addition, students will complete a 40 hour volunteer or community service project in the second half of the semester, in which they will put in to practice their language skills. The beginning levels concentrate on the development of the spoken language and on the ability to understand.
