This course will explore the key principles and applications of Medical Imaging, and their relevance to current developments in physics.The aims of this course are:(1) To describe the key physical principles of medical imaging(2) To explore the theory of medical imaging techniques in disease detection and diagnosis, monitoring of clinical procedures and monitoring response to therapy(3) to describe practical examples and applications of the most important imaging techniques.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
