Duration and temporal location within the curriculum:
The module includes 4 general subjects and 6 courses, being the subjects of Mathematics for Economics and Business and Descriptive Statistics basic character, and Information Systems for Management, Statistical Inference and Econometrics mandatory, covering all degree courses, from 1st to 4th. Econometrics etymologically means measuring the economy, which serves as an overview of the content of this subject. Coursed in the first quarter of the fourth year of Business Administration and Management; itsstudy is directly related to the development of various skills, generic and specific. With this module, students achieve the homogenization of knowledge in basic science to further promote the transfer of credits between qualifications.
a.Understand and interpret key aspects of the econometric analysis through the compression of economic and business environment.
b.Understand and interpret key models and econometric techniques :linear regression and nonlinear dynamic modeling , panel data and time series.
c. Being able to search and interpret financial data using econometric analysis tool.
d. Develop critical thinking and professional students to issue advisory reports on specific situations of economics and business, usingeconometric analysis.
e. Accustom the students to use information technology ( spreadsheet or statistical software).
