    OBJECTIVES

    -Know the basic content and skills, to give an overview and critique of the role of nutrition and supplements in sport.
    -Distinguish the basic components of food into his role in the physiology of the athlete.
    -Identify the different types and functions of nutrients.
    -Acquire the necessary knowledge about the type and characteristics of the different food groups and proportions in which they must be present to have a healthy and balanced diet.
    -Learn techniques for assessing the nutritional status of the subject, and identify some major alterations.
    -Know the relationships between diet and exercise.
    -Apply knowledge of nutrition learned to promote the education of healthy habits.

    o To pass the subject or in the 1st and 2nd announcement will be essential:
    The results obtained by the student will be graded according to the following numerical scale
    of 0 to 10, with 2 decimal expression, which may be added the corresponding qualitative
    rating:
    ? 0 to 4.9: Thriller
    ? 5.0 to 6.9: Approved
    ? 7.0 to 8.9: Notable
    ? 9.0 to 10: Outstanding
    The minimum score of each item of assessment to make half the final grade for the course will be 5.0 points.
    The final average to pass the course will be 5 points. The student must pass all assessments have been made during the semester to pass the course.
    If the average student make a note less than 5.0, the interest is valued, predisposition and involvement of students in the course.
    In the event that a penalty, one of the party is suspended, regardless of the average of all remaining parts being approved on 5, the student will be awarded a maximum grade of 4.5 points.
    o Criteria for granting a grade of honor:Mention Honors (MH) may be granted to students who score at or above "9", provided that the number of these students does not exceed 5% of registered in this area (if the student group is less than 20 an honors student would be given to / to reach the required score).
    If the number of students meeting the conditions of honors exceed 5%, this rating will be assigned to complete this percentage starting with the highest score. In case of tie, obtaining honors would solve by conducting a new test.
