Overview
COURSE OBJECTIVE
These days, services take a large share of gross domestic product. In logistics, the focus has traditionally been on product- based operations but not so much on services based operations such as banks, hospitals or airlines.

This course discusses logistic aspects of services firms and provides students with:
- an understanding of key concepts in managing logistics in service oriented businesses
- the ability to make quantitative trade-offs in after sales service related logistics decisions

- Capacity management
- Demand management
- Delivery management
- Value added services
