  • Overview

    The interface between the graphic design, print and art environments is dynamic and pervasive. An awareness of contemporary practices through conceptual and hands-on cross-media investigations will allow you to interpret and engage more creatively in these environments.
    Learning Outcomes
    On completion of this unit you should be able to:
    1. apply open, speculative methods to art and design problems;
    2. apply graphic skills and innovative uses of media in the production of images
    3. understand the relationship between art and design elements within individual practice.
    Approaches to Teaching and Learning
    This unit will involve lectures, demonstrations, discussions, workshop and studio participation. You will also undertake individual research referring to recommended texts, other references and exhibitions.
