OverviewThe interface between the graphic design, print and art environments is dynamic and pervasive. An awareness of contemporary practices through conceptual and hands-on cross-media investigations will allow you to interpret and engage more creatively in these environments.Learning OutcomesOn completion of this unit you should be able to:
Approaches to Teaching and LearningThis unit will involve lectures, demonstrations, discussions, workshop and studio participation. You will also undertake individual research referring to recommended texts, other references and exhibitions.
- apply open, speculative methods to art and design problems;
- apply graphic skills and innovative uses of media in the production of images
- understand the relationship between art and design elements within individual practice.

Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
Some courses may require additional fees.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
