OverviewSynopsis:The unit introduces concepts of signals and systems in the context of electrical and electronic circuits. In particular, the unit introduces frequency domain analysis of signals and systems, and provides the foundation for later units in EGB348 Electronics, EGB342 Telecommunications and Signal Processing, and EGB345 Control and Dynamic Systems. The unit introduces important mathematical concepts and transforms, such as Fourier and Laplace, which are used across a large number of electrical engineering units.
