  • Overview

    The subject introduces you to photography as a means of documenting facts and telling stories. Practical instruction in the use of DSLR cameras & Lightroom or Photoshop. Exclusive recorded interviews with world-class practicing photojournalists, augment learning in the conceptual and aesthetic aspects of the genre. Practical assignments enhance your ability to understand, and creatively use photographic image-making as a means of expression of ideas and transfer of knowledge. NOTE: Online subject equivalent to 2-3 hrs/wk with access to online data. You must have access to Adobe Lightroom OR Photoshop CS3,4,5 etc. Photoshop Elements is acceptable but NOT desirable. A DSLR camera using memory card & RAW file quality is mandatory.
