OverviewThis subject introduces students to the principles and skills for researching, writing and producing compelling stories for different types of media and publishing platforms, including text, video, audio, still images, blogs and mobile journalism. Students will develop the skills necessary to critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of different publishing platforms and select the right platform for the right story. At the completion of this subject, students will have used a minimum of three different media to tell a layered single story.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
