Academic Information
- COURSE SELECTION
The courses listed below are only a sampling of what the university offers. Plese see the full UNSW Course Catalog, linked below, for a full listing of courses offered. - CREDIT CONVERSION
Per the University of New South Wales' recommendation, 6 credit points = 3-4 U.S. semester credits (4-6 U.S. quarter credits). The transcript from UNSW will reflect UNSW credit points for each course. Please be in touch with your U.S. university regarding credit transfer for this program. - COURSE LEVEL RECOMMENDATIONS
ISA offers course level recommendations for the courses listed below. Please note that the course level recommendations are based on the University of New South Wales (UNSW) course codes. All UNSW course codes are made up of a four-character alphabetic prefix, identifying the Faculty, School or academic unit administering the course, (such as ECON for Economics), and a four-digit numeric suffix. In many cases the first digit of the four-digit numeric suffix indicates the level of the course. For example, a course coded 1000 level (eg ECON1101) is normally taken in the first year of study, and a course coded 3000 level (eg MARK3054) is normally taken in the third year of study. ISA recommends 2000- and 3000-level courses as upper division. These ISA recommendations are intended to facilitate the determination of course equivalencies by advisors and credential evaluators at participants' U.S. home institutions.
