  • Overview

    The aim of this course is to provide meteorological concepts in a visual and practical manner while simultaneously providing students with a comprehensive background in environmental physics. Both qualitative and quantitative treatment of climate physics including climate sensitivity and change and climate models and predictions are covered. The Earth and its atmosphere and the dynamics form an integral component of this course. Tropical weather, weather forecasting techniques, thunderstorms, and climate change are examined.
