Overview
As a requirement of the social and community work practice component of the Social Work Major, students will work in an approved social and community work environment. The course aims to equip students with the practical skills and competencies required of professional social and community workers. Students will spend the equivalent of 35 days in a social/community work organisation supported by a field educator.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.

Availability of courses is based on enrollment numbers. All students should seek pre-approval for alternate courses in the event of last minute class cancellations
