    Extends and applies basic concepts and skills from Economic Principles 1. The microeconomic component analyses the behaviour of individuals, firms and markets. The macroeconomic component analyses aggregate economic activity in New Zealand and its interrelationships with the rest of the world. Particular emphasis is placed on the role and impact of government economic policies.
