  • Overview

    An introduction to the Multi-Dimensional Approach to understanding human development, learning, experience, coping and adaptation across the life-span. This course examines key changes in development that people experience across the life-span and looks at the ways people learn to cope with change in and around them. The course also looks at factors and contexts that contribute to risk, resilience, development and learning. The MD approach focuses on those working in human services that aim to support development and learning. The course complements various disciplines including psychology, criminology, sociology, law, media studies and education.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
