    Description
    An integrated course of literature and language.

    Course learning objectives
    Students who pass this course will be able to
    1. recall the meaning of a number of essential items of ancient Greek vocabulary;
    2. grasp the basic elements of ancient Greek morphology, grammar and syntax;
    3. read simple passages of Greek with fluency;
    4. translate simple English sentences into Greek with difficulty;
    5. engage more deeply with ancient Greek culture through their knowledge of the language.
