At-Risk Youth Institute

Arabic (Beginning)

The At-Risk Youth Institute helps to relieve the on-going struggles faced by underprivileged or abandoned youth who have turned of legal adult age thereby losing access to certain services provided by social institutions. At this critical age, these youth are expected to start leading their lives among the local community. The Institute strives to train these young adults and develop their already existing abilities to find working opportunities that will help them become independent. Assistance in the areas of fundraising, teaching and event coordination may be needed.

Participants may assist the teachers and staff with educational workshops, recreational activities, and English lessons. Leading and planning sports activities during the school's summer camp may also be needed.
