PARENT VISITS

ISA-HS programs are designed to offer students a variety of activities and excursions while abroad. Although students are given ample free time, they are required to attend all classes, activities and excursions. ISA Directors work hard to create a healthy group dynamic among students and provide opportunities for language use and cultural experiences. In order to maintain this group dynamic and insist that students abide by the program guidelines, ISA-HS requests that parents do not visit students during the official program dates. If parents do visit during the program dates, ISA-HS kindly requests that parents contact the on-site directors and inform them of their intentions. If the parents' plan affects the student's ability to comply with the program's established itinerary, ISA-HS requires written notification assuming total responsibility for any incident that may occur during that time for their student only.

If parents want to visit their students, they are strongly encouraged to visit before or after the official program dates. If a student will be traveling with his/her parents prior to or after the official program departure date, please notify ISA-HS before the program departure date.
