Students fly into the appropriate airport where they meet the resident staff and other students and attend on-site orientations. The ISA-HS staff will provide students with a brief introduction to the history and culture of the host country, as well as details on safety, what to expect while living in a homestay, and guidance on adjusting to life abroad.

Participants in the Academic + Volunteer programs will go on to complete two weeks of academics followed by one to two weeks of community service, depending on their program.
