Students in this program participate in an Intensive Spanish Language month long program prior to the semester.

The Latin American Studies program is designed for students at all levels of the Spanish language who have an interest in political, social, economic, and cultural aspects of Argentina. The courses in this program are taught in Spanish and English by University of Belgrano professors. Students with a high intermediate or advanced level of Spanish may choose to take any combination of courses listed. All classes are with American and other international students.

The Semester 2A program includes an Intensive Month of Spanish prior to the semester. The semester 2B program does not include an Intensive Month prior to the semester.

Students wishing to take one or more courses with locals should sign up for the Courses with Argentines program.

Gap students are also eligible for this program.

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

This program is open to students at all levels of Spanish langauge proficiency. All students will take an online placement exam administered by the University of Belgrano prior to departing the U.S.
