Students may choose between the following Program Terms:
Intensive Spanish Language - Universidad de Belgrano
Designed for students who are eager to learn and/or better understand the Spanish language, this program will give you the opportunity to participate in one intensive Spanish course offered through the Universidad de Belgrano's language department. While in class with other international students, you will focus on Spanish conversation, culture, and grammar, and be taught by Argentinian faculty.
All students must take a Spanish language placement exam online prior to arrival in Buenos Aires. The exam will indicate each student's language proficiency level, and will determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll. Students participating in the Back to Back Intensive Spanish Language summer program will have the opportunity to progress through two consecutive levels of Spanish language. Therefore, advanced level students are not eligible for back-to-back summer programs. Summer 1 Intensive Spanish Language + Summer 3 Latin American Studies or Summer 4 Medical Spanish Immersion is available for students at the advanced level who wish to participate on consecutive summer programs.

Students will be eligible for academic credit for the Spanish language course and will receive a certificate from their placement clinic for hours completed at their medical rotation.
The Spanish for Healthcare Professionals course is taught at the Universidad de Belgrano by local university professors and will include guest lectures from healthcare specialists. ISA participants will take classes alongside other international students. All students will complete a placement exam in order to determine eligibility for the program.
