Spring/Fall Break Excursions

Location: Australia

In addition to the ISA included excursions in Australia, semester or year abroad students will have the opportunity to participate in optional spring/fall break excursions. The purpose of these trips is to give students exciting options to explore their host country or another unique destination in the Asia-Pacific region during this longer break. These excursions are available to all students studying in the Pacific region with ISA, allowing them to reconnect with friends participating in other ISA programs in New Zealand, Australia and Fiji. Each trip is lead by staff members from a vetted tour provider and gives students an opportunity to take in iconic sites, visit remote locations, and discover a new culture.

Trips available to ISA students include:
-Ayer's Rock and the Red Center of Australia
-New Zealand's South Island
-Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef

These trips are optional and not included in the program fee. Programs are typically 4-9 days in length and range between $800-1000 USD. There may also be additional costs for meals and other activities beyond the trip price. Students will book directly with a vetted tour provider, and ISA staff will not be in attendance.
