The Australian Studies Program offers students the chance to satisfy their intellectual and cultural curiosity about one of the world's most diverse, friendly and harmonious cultures. This program offers the course- Australia Today at Deakin University and will provide students with cultural analyses, interactions, and orientation skills that will heighten their understanding of contemporary Australian society and its place within global contexts.

In addition to tuition, and accommodation, the Australian Studies Program includes cultural excursions that integrate course curriculum with applied learning on location. These excursions include a bushwalk and surf lesson, visits to the Great Ocean Road, the Melbourne Immigration Museum, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image as well as the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
