Student Visa and Embassy Information

A passport is required to travel abroad on all ISA programs. All ISA Australia programs require a visa to enter the country, no matter the duration of stay. ISA recommends that you research the requirements of your consulate immediately to begin the student visa process. For more information regarding this, please refer to the visa information sheet in your student portal account. ISA must receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) from your host university in Australia before you will be able to apply for the visa. This will be received approximately 4-6 weeks prior to departure. U.S. passport holders are able to apply for their student visa online. The online application takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete and then the visa approval confirmation email should arrive within around 1-2 weeks. Depending on your country of citizenship, you may have to meet additional requirements to study abroad. Check with your local embassy or consulate as soon as possible to verify entry requirements for the country in which you will be studying.

Note: Embassy and consulate contact information is subject to change without notice. Please refer to the website of the embassy or consulate to verify information.
