The Spanish Language & Latin American Studies program is designed for students at all levels of Spanish proficiency. All courses are taught at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso by local university professors. ISA participants take classes alongside other international students.

Semester + Semester Programs Available: Students may participate in the Spring + Fall OR the Fall + Spring sessions of this program by selecting their two semesters of interest when submitting the initial ISA online application. Students who select the Semester + Semester option for this program will receive a $1,500 discount. ISA support services, housing and insurance are not included during the interim period between sessions but may be added for an additional charge.
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

Mission WorkISA's Veritas Christian Study Abroad division adds ministry service opportunities and spiritual support to existing ISA programs. Students interested in participating in missions while studying abroad must apply to a Veritas program (Visit veritasabroad.com to view program options). Veritas programs promote spiritual growth through the on-site support of a Mission Mentor as well as engaging academic and mission experiences.
