Students participating in a Cuba summer program will NOT be required to visit a Cuban consulate before their departure. A D-2 student visa will be given to each student upon their arrival into Havana.
Non U.S. Citzens:
Please note that if you are not a U.S. citizen, you should contact the Embassy of Cuba in Washington D.C. to verify specific entry requirements. As these requirements vary based on citizenship, non-U.S. citizens may not be permitted to travel to Cuba without a visa or outside of their visa dates. Also, visa fees for non-U.S. citizens may differ, so please be sure to check your specific consulate's website for the most up to date information.
