Irish Studies, International Business & Liberal Arts -Maynooth University
The Irish Studies, International Business & Liberal Arts program is offered through Maynooth University (MU). This program offers students a comprehensive introduction to Irish Literature, Creative Writing, Politics, History, Anthropology, International Business, and Management through a series of courses, cultural activities, and excursions. Of particular note are the field trips included for each of MU's courses.
Courses are taught by MU faculty and ISA students take classes with other international students. All courses are taught in English.
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
There is no language prerequisite for this program.
Students must include with the standard ISA application:
- Passport Color Scan
- Pre-Registration Form
Students must have at least sophomore standing (second year) at their home university at the time of participation.
Courses and course hours of instruction are subject to change.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits are converted to semester credits/quarter units differently among U.S. universities. Students should confirm the conversion scale used at their home university when determining credit transfer.
Availability of courses is based on enrollment numbers. All students should seek pre-approval for alternate courses in the event of last minute class cancellations
