Cinque Terre, "The 5 Lands", is a picturesque view of the Italian Riviera with colorful houses carefully hugging the cliff sides. Part of its charm is the lack of visible modern development, as it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A walking trail connects the five villages. The road from Riomaggiore to Manarola is called the Via Dell'Amore ("Lovers Lane") and is the easiest walk. The rest of the trails vary in difficulty from an easy stroll to a rough and physically challenging hike. Enjoy a ferry ride along the coastline and explore Italy's Liguria region on this excellent excursion!
