Students may choose between the following Program Terms:

Arabic Language & Middle Eastern Studies - University of Jordan - University of Jordan

This program is open to students from all majors. The University of Jordan offers ISA students beginning and intermediate level Modern Standard Arabic courses. Content courses include social science, humanities, and fine arts courses related to the Middle East which will give students an understanding of Jordan specifically and the region more generally.

A highlight feature of this program is the ability to enroll in TWO Arabic courses. If a student wishes to progress through one full level, ie. Arabic 101 and Arabic 102, they may do so and earn up to a years worth of credit hours. Students cannot progress through two different levels ie. Arabic 102 and Arabic 201.

Service-Learning Information
In addition to their academic courses, students will have the opportunity to spend 5-10 hours per week at a host organization, increasing language proficiency and gaining valuable international experience. Placements are arranged prior to arrival in the host country and language requirements vary. Visit the ISA Service-Learning website for more information on placement opportunities.

Service-Learning placements are coordinated by ISA and have no affiliation with the university. Students will develop a Portfolio throughout the program, documenting their projects, hours, and program activities.

Students can earn 1-6 credits based on the number of contact hours accrued at the host organization and successful completion of the Portfolio. Visit the Academic Credit page of the ISA Service-Learning website for more information

Business, Engineering & Information Technology- PSUT - Princess Sumaya University for Technology

Princess Sumaya University for Technology offers an wide variety of courses in the fields of Business, Engineering, and Information Iechnology. The courses are taught in English, and instructed by highly qualified and highly sought after faculty and professors. ISA students will attend classes with local Jordanian students and become fully immeresed in the academic culture of Amman.
