Courses with Locals in Multiple Disciplines- University of Stirling -University of Stirling

As an ISA student at the University of Stirling, you will have access to courses from many different subject areas. Students can select courses from a wide offering of modules (courses). Classes are taught by university professors and the courses are with locals and other international students.


Program Highlights:

  • US-Style medium size campus in the lush heart of Scotland
  • Pedestrian friendly with frequent bus service into town. City center is two miles away from the university
  • Housing located on or near campus
  • Centrally located in Scotland with easy access to the cities in the south and the Highlands in the north
  • Known for its exceptional and very modern sporting facilities. The university has an athletic track, fitness suite, golf course, sports hall, tennis courts, pools, artificial pitches, squash courts, and so much more.
  • Strong course offerings in the following subjects: Sport Studies, Biological Sciences, English, History, Computer Science, Social Science, Humanities, and Business

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.00.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

All applicants must have at least sophomore standing (second-year) at their home university.

All applicants are required to submit an official transcript, academic letter of recommendation and letter of intent along with the application.

Availability of courses is based on enrollment numbers. All students should seek pre-approval for alternate courses in the event of last minute class cancellations
